Don’t hire this guy if you have a DUI or Domestic. He doesn’t take it to trial or doesn’t fight for you and helps the state gets a conviction. Actually forced me to accept a plea I did not want. Waste of money and time he will ruin your life.

Dan is a wonderful attorney! My second time having him represent me and I am truly happy with the outcome. He has a wonderful secretary as-well. I am truly grateful for the services provided. Wonderful personalities and wonderful communication from both Dan and Misty. I would recommend his services to anyone in need, especially regarding parenting/family/OP’s. I can’t possibly thank them both enough for how much they’ve helped me along the way. He is worth every penny that I paid. I will continue to have him represent me in the future if needed. I hope they see this and know how much they are appreciated!! HUGE thank you for BOTH of their time. You truly do deserve a higher rating, every experience is different but I’ve never had a bad one with this guy.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Huffman was a very incompetent lawyer. My husband used him for a family lawyer for two and a half years. I can count on my two hands how many times we actually spoke to Huffman, even during emergencies he was extremely hard to contact. He barely got anything done, dragging out the court process an excessive amount of time. And then drop my husband as a client as soon as he could, without any warning. We are just know finding out, over a year after he resigned as my husbands attorney, that he never properly filed the documents correctly with the judge. Putting us back 4 years of progress, which we now have to start over. I would never recommend him.

Can I leave no stars? I never leave reviews we’ve had a family attorney for decades that has retired and needed to get our adult kids started. Do not choose this guy!! My sons Placed some $ down and couldn’t get a return call for months, never answered calls unless we called from a different phone number. Thank god we didn’t Pay it all. The only time this lawyer actually talked to him was once and he was very nice understanding and professional, trying to make the sale. One time in four months. Finally after going to Illinois Board. We got some finished Paperwork to sign and phone call from his office the first one. Miraculously the paper were done . Then they said they wouldn’t serve papers until we withdrew complaints and made a remaining payment plan.(Not happening) We weren’t happy thu

Absolutely, worst experience I've ever had with a lawyer, I trusted Dan with the most important thing any human being could, the fight to be a parent. My ex took our daughter away from me and made false allegations that I know were false. I could of proven this myself and wish I would have instead of trusting Dan. I think because I'm young he took me and my case as a joke. He never once returned my phone calls and I understand he's busy but we all are. If he was unable to dedicate the proper time to my case and do the job he was paid to do he shouldn't of took the money. His secretary got back to me a few times but at one point Dan went over a month and I still had zero contact back before I show up for court one day and just didn't show up. COMPLETLEY Unacceptable.
