At the age of 51, I'm trying to share information so other people don't get hurt or taken advantage of. I'm going to start by saying this lawyer, Mr Christopher Piner, received a $3,000 retainer from me to represent my son in a Morgan County, Georgia case that was based around schizophrenia and a mental disorder. I have lived in Michigan for my entire life, which made getting a lawyer in Georgia very difficult for me as well as the logistics of everything. The only tool I had to find a lawyer was Google and Google reviews. I depended on that to try to help my son, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and ended up having a traumatic event happen while he was living with his mother in Georgia. ***UPDATE: Must Read*** Updated Post: They do say, you get what you pay for, and I'm sure paying for it. I would not use or recommend Chris for anything divorce related. It took me a while to realize just how badly skewed this non-contested divorce was. I filed for divorce and not one article within the divorce decree goes in my favor, the decree is heavily swayed towards my ex-wife (which I understand, I read and signed it). What I did not realize is just how bad this decree is until I spoke to another lawyer only to realize that some of the items written in should have been addressed as a non-biased lawyer, I would have thought there would be some semblance of fairness, but no, none at all.
