Very disappointed, especially since a dear friend highly recommended Lavin Law Group. I’m sure once I explain how unprofessional they were she will think twice to recommend them again. My sister passed away end of October and my mom and I meet with Chris (1st meeting there was no charge) explained my sister’s circumstances and he said she did everything right regarding her estate (paid on death, to her niece as beneficiary). My dad was an early client. He went with them for peace of mind. Upon request he would provide references for this firm. He assured me that when something happened they would be there to help me through the process. Nothing could be further from the truth. I had to call 4 times to get a response. The first 3 times, the phone disconnected during the transfer. But I introduced myself, so I'm not sure why the paralegal wasn't able to call me back? I sent an email but never received a reply. On my 4th attempt, I reached Christie. I was trying to get a copy of my dad's advance directives. She said that he only had a trust, which she emailed to me. We moved here five years ago and we had a will that was 14 years old but still adequate if needed. Then we found out Ohio has restrictions that made our will null and void. Where to go who to see. We were referred to Lavin Law by our representative of Warren County Veterans. We went and had the wills redone and a whole lot more that we never thought of. I truly believe you get what you pay for. Lavin Law gave us a whole lot more and we are now set and feeling good about our experience with Lavin Law.

My parents used them to set up a preservation trust. The initial meetings went well, but follow up calls were not answered in a timely manner. The paralegal, Rachel, was rude to me during a phone call, and then refused to let me speak with her boss. I then emailed a partner, and he didn't respond. My family doesn't recommend this firm.
