Knoke & Kind Law Office

LOL! I found these reviews amusing, especially the negative ones. Most people don't take the time to write positive reviews, but negative ones always abound. I have known, or known of, Attorney Knoke since the 80's when I was a law clerk for an attorney in Brodhead. Working in a law office as a law clerk for a year and working for attorneys as a licensed legal investigator for ten years, I am well aware of the complaints and issues that some clients have with their law offices. Practicing law is just like practicing medicine - it's not perfect science and you don't always get the results you were expecting or wanted. My case was very straightforward. The attorney had assured me that my $1500 retainer would be more than enough to cover everything. However, I was sent an additional bill for almost $500 more with no explanation, whatsoever. I haven't had any other experiences with lawyers, but am well aware of their shady reputation, in general. This firm did nothing, but lend credence to the stereotype. I only wish zero stars were a rating option.

I have contacted their office 3 times over the last 30 years for legal help and they have been useless. Maybe if you are related or something they Might help you out, otherwise don’t waste your time

I was charged $4000 and all they did was make one court appearance and do some paperwork. I think they left their timer on while they went to lunch a couple of times. I will never go there again.

They helped us to get our estate planning completed. We chose them because they were responsive to our needs and questions.
