We hired Adam Hall as our real estate attorney. He wound up finding a judgement against the seller. After that it got crazy. The seller did their part on their end, but for some reason Adam drug his feet and kept making excuses for not getting everything together. At one point he said he felt we were all trying to get over on him....accusing us of being fraudulent. I believe that he just didnt want to do what it took to bring us to close. We wound up wasting over 2 weeks ( which put us in a hotel which costed us alot of extra money). And he was still making excuses for not getting it done. We wound up having to pay him AND go somewhere else. We took it to Bennett and West and they did it in less than a day. ALOT OF WASTED TIME AND ALOT OF WASTED MONEY FOR NO REASON. Very incompetent. I had hired Jennifer Michaud with this law firm, to represent me. When I first contacted her, she told me there were no conflicts of interest. After paying her the majority of her retainer, she informs me by email, not telephone, that she has a conflict of interest and cannot represent me. Ms. Michaud said that she would not be able to tell me the conflict. She said that she would return only a portion of the retainer paid to her. All of the retainer, except for a small fee, should have been refunded. It was not my fault that she did not investigate thoroughly and find this conflict of interest. I know that she did work on the case and I was willing to pay a small fee. I could never do this to someone. I would not be able to sleep. It is her fault, not mine, that she can no longer represen

Called and spoke with Maggie about a service I needed and she was to return my call after speaking with the lawyers there. Still haven't heard back and it's been over a week.

The staff were all very nice. Attorney Adam Hall, walked me thru closing and kept me posted until deed was recorded. Very knowledgeable.
