I firmly believe that most people are just trying to do their best…but with the very sudden passing of my mother-in-law, life has gotten confusing trying to get her affairs in order. This attorney was contacted for some assistance and the family was told that she would set up a free consultation to discuss options and how we would like to move forward. The appointment was made days ago, but my husband was just notified that the “free” consultation would now be a $500 consultation. No explanation was given as to why there was suddenly a charge.
