As i just end trial today I wanted to write a review for Kezia. She is absolutely the best choice possible in my opinion for a lawyer. She guided me through every step of the process. I constantly bothered her during and after hours and she was always willing to work with me and help me understand different things or simple to ease my mind. Kezia and Val are amazing people to work with and do their best to try and help you in anyway possible. My case i would assume was a high conflict meaning a struggle to find level ground type of case. She always responded immediately or within a timely manner. She always reminded me and guided to do what was best for my children. When sometimes id forget to do that. I couldn't thank her enough for what she has done for my family and I. Kezia comes high

I went with Kezia because of how skilled I was told she was. There is no doubt that she can be a incredibly smart. However that is the only good thing from my experience. Expect ZERO communication, no monthly statements on how much she's charging you, she didn't even call me back until the day before my scheduling hearing. Trying to get information about your case from her or her secretary is harder than pulling teeth. I finally got an email with my court order back (I was told it would get mailed to me back in March, it is now almost May) and she didn't even ask the judge for the terms that what I had wanted. I had asked to be apart of the hearing but she said I didn't need to be there because it was just a phone call to schedule our actual hearing but it was possible that the judge would

Kenzia not professional at all didn't even show up to court the day of court I found out the she had withdrawn from the case at court in court not one email or letter notifying anything, just left me hanging. Thank goodness the judge was understanding. Beware I would definitely!, keep looking! there are definitely better attorneys! keep looking!

If you are appointed Kezia Smith for a civil case, save your life and hire someone else immediately. The number listed on my paperwork and on Google goes straight to voicemail some days. Other days I am told "I will try to see if I can reach her" which means keep calling for 4-6 days until she calls you back last minute before your hearing. The entire process is a complete run around which is not entirely her fault. I am extremely reasonable. She agreed to tell the judge how I took matters into my own hands getting a referral for a Psychologist from my Doctor. How I scheduled my own Rule 25 Assessment. At the most critical point in my case when I got revelation my son's mother had a domestic assault with her new partner and he went to jail, I reached out to Kezia via phone/text asking what to do with that information, KEZIA DEEMED IT UNNOTEWORTHY TO TELL THE MEDIATOR AT ALL AND IT WOULDNT CHANGE ANYTHING. At the very end of our final mediation with the mediator I let it slip out because I couldn't get it out of my head. He asked me point blank how I didn't think that was important to the case in the slightest.
