I give John Challis a one because the first time I talked to him, he could not have been more pleasant. After that he was very contentious and how to say, did not remember correctly what he had told me. He let a deadline go by that cancelled out my probate codicil that was $100.000. I AM embarrassed by losing my temper with his assistant.......I called her back to apologize.....I am suffering from a concussion. Unless you take a tape recorder, you cannot count on the same words out of his mouth twice. No one could be as good as he thinks he is!

I was referred here by our financial planner regarding a legal matter with my mother's estate when a family member committed inheritance theft. This was my experience. At first, they acted like they were interested. They sent me a draft of a petition in March. But there was another legal matter we were trying to resolve first before moving forward. They told me that was fine, that I could wait to file the petition. Suddenly, they said they were no longer interested. I got the feeling that something more lucrative came on their radar, so they just dropped me. So I wasted three months time and legal fees and now have to start all over with another lawyer. I definitely wouldn't recommend them. Even the legal profession can have bad customer service.
