Kelsey Law represented the buyers of my property, and they made it difficult for us as the sellers when it came down to the deposition of proceeds. We signed and had everything required notarized, chosing to have the funds wired directly to one account. We also agreed to power of attorney so we would not have to come into the office again. What should have taken a day or two ended up taking five. Kelsey Law refused to wire the funds and couldn't provide an acceptable answer for the decision to our attorney, and they wanted us to come in once to sign more paperwork and another time to receive separate checks. I called to see if I could clarify the situation and come up with a solution to the issue that wouldn't require trips to two locations, and I was met with disrespect and unprofessional

I had hired Kelsey Law to assist with a short sale in Virginia Beach in 2016. This team really hustled to smooth out all the problems with reams of paperwork and the staff was consistently prompt and professional. Jill and Christie were awesome. I would highly recommend them.

This attorney Caroline Kelsey doesn’t understand when representation applies and when it doesn’t. Also she was going to send a tax form to IRS that wouldn’t apply to our case at all and therefore was requesting time consuming paperwork that was not needed… we had to insist that she would consult with an accountant before she backed down… INCOMPETENT, ARROGANT, very bureaucratic and at times even RUDE. AVOID!!
