Currently the attorney for my purchasers. He has held up the deal for a month....and counting. We worked out language in the contracts quickly. He had no objections. Still the contract took him 3 times as long as it should have and then on the 5th week he sends a ridiculous rider and makes a ton of changes to the contract without any notice and has his clients sign before sending. We were livid and almost went with our back up buyers. I wish we had. Convinced by our attorneys they they would “stay on top of him” we continued with the deal after a painstaking 6 weeks to get the simple contract and “good faith” deposit out of the way. Now he has taken more than 10 days and has not ordered the title. Once again causing a domino effect and slowing down the deal after he has already asked for
