I subscribed to my employer's MetLife law plan. From my understanding, it offers free consultations with law firms that are a part of this plan. I was connected with Johnson & Pekny, L.L.C.. I was paired with an amazing lawyer who unfortunately decided to take some time for herself. I was then paired with another lawyer, Jaclyn Duffy. She was pleasant initially when we spoke. I had a conversation with her where I had a lot of thoughts going through my head, and I was sharing them with her. I was supposed to sign a document. Due to the conversation I had with her she states she can no longer allow me to sign the documents even though I told her I was ok doing so. This resulted in a turbulent time in my life. Where to start! this is a review that's been earned over a 10+ year time frame. I've been represented by Darren and his team on multiple occasions. this last time went to trial.
