As a mediator, Mr. Brikmanis failed to remain neutral and professional. Instead of focusing on helping both parents find common ground, he critiqued my legal filings, suggested I needed to hire an attorney, and even echoed language about “vexatious litigation” — something only a court can determine. That is not a mediator’s role. He also minimized my documented ADA accommodations and even implied that raising disability-related concerns meant I was not focused on my child’s best interest. ADA rights and the best interest of the child are not in conflict — accommodations are what allow a parent with a disability to fully participate and advocate for their child. John has no right to be an attorney. He takes money promises to help you and then just ignores you and doesn't give you the information to show up to mediation. Case lost bc of his failure to do the job. Small claims is in his future.

John Brikmanis is a great attorney, very helpful, thorough, and thoughtful. I would use him as my attorney in a heartbeat.
