Ms. Ireland was my attorney for my child custody case. I found her through my work union website and I have to say I am glad she was listed. I had a horrible attorney the first time I went to court and Ms. Ireland came in after hearing my story and took me on as a client. If you want someone who is going to sugarcoat things and tell you what you want to hear, find a different person. Ms. Ireland gave it to me straight and I did not make it easy on her (or myself). She was able to help me out and she is worth it. I would recommend her to any one who needs an attorney. Ms. Ireland represents her clients fully while listening and offering advice. I'm glad I had Ms. Ireland.

Our appointed Guardian at litem was Elizabeth Ireland. She is a mother herself therefore sees all sides and very down-to-earth yet smart in the legal sense. I will retain her from now on for any and all various legal representation. The best unknown Hampton Roads attorney ever and ive used just about all the "best" lawyers before.

I don’t believe you can rate a law practice accurately. Having experienced more family law than I can stomach, I am incapable of honestly believing it is about justice. That said, with 4 law firms and a very uncouth and demanding criteria I have to say for now that this is probably the best on my radar. Take the time to do the research as your kids are worth it. That said, understand that it may not matter unless you are willing to pay to play.

I felt very at ease. Ms Ireland tells it like it is. She explains herself very well on why she is giving the advice and considers both parties sides. She puts the children first and seems to put a lot of thought into ways to minimize the effects legal issues can have on them. Highly reccommend !!

Do not retain Colin Sweeney to represent you. $500 for one hour of court for him to get a guilty verdict. Con artist who didn’t take the time to prepare for a case whose argument for a VA weed charge was “but its legal in DC”. HORRIBLE representation.
