James Reaves is a good man and a great lawyer. He has helped me out of a few jambs with traffic tickets and keeping me from losing my Cdl license. Definitely will use with any future issues and will recommend to anyone that needs a lawyer

I am beyond thankful for Jim and Cheri. They worked so hard on a case for me and the outcome was better than I could ever expect. If I had a question or a concern, all I had to do was text or call and they were right there to talk to me. Never was I left in the dark and everything was explained to the detail. If you need a lawyer…a good and experienced lawyer…you need and you better run right over to Reaves law firm..

Steer clear of this lawyer. I paid him a month ago for a custody agreement and I’ve yet to have any kind of paper work done or shown to me. Everytime I call I get lied to. Either we in trial, or sick or I get hung up on cause a fake incoming phone call is happening. His wife has called a lied to me over the phone. He’s has lied to me they txt a phone conversation and his secatry has lied. If you want to give away free money then he’s the one to use. If u want result then best to find a real lawyer who will represent you. Warning steer clear of Reeves law firm. I will be contacting the board about his professionalism

Jim has been my attorney for years! He has always treated me with the upmost respect and has worked very hard on my cases. I would highly recommend him for any case you may need representation for!

Hired for case but case was dismissed shortly after. Doesn't answer phone calls and barely responds to email after he's paid. Refuses to refund money as case never went to court. Refuses to provide any documents at all detailing the work done or the fees charged. I would avoid at all costs as he will take your money and never return it. For anyone in this situation please file a grievance with the NC State Bar as this is very unprofessional conduct and he should not have a license to practice.
