My best friend was in desperate need of a Lawyer on short notice. We did some digging on Google & at the time James Monsebroten had decent reviews. Since the first custody hearing which turned out favorably - she has had to spend 6000 to hire James. He does not communicate or update you about your case. It is absolutely impossible to reach him. Now his most recent reviews on Google are indicating he is not responding to other clients of his either. My best friend finally got a hold of him after trying for months, he scheduled a meeting in Coos Bay. She wanted to fire him, but he insisted we give him another chance. Hired James for a divorce case involving children. He stopped communicating as soon as he received money. When he finally provided a preliminary divorce directive it was a poorly done paste job. The wrong names, address and items were included. I am just so glad I paid James by credit card because they stepped in and refunded our money due to his failure to preform.

He placed the burden of work entirely on me, despite having signed a retainer agreement that promised monthly statements. However, I never received those statements, and communication only seemed to improve once my case reached its conclusion.
