James Meyrat, Attorney at Law

Unfortunately, I was appointed James Meyrat as my court appointed lawyer last month. I have called 20 times and left 20 voicemails and I have proof of every single call with time and date. He is never in the office. He is always on the phone or at court every time I call and I get transferred to his voicemail. I wish I could give no stars. I have left my phone number with every voicemail and have never received not one single call back. Even worse he stood me up in court and didn’t even show up or bother to contact me to let me know. The judge had to appoint me another lawyer. Good luck to whoever had to deal with him.

I’ve used four attorneys in recent years.. This guy is by far the best! Needed a marital/legal issue taken care of immediately. This attorney got it done and for a very reasonable price. He seemed to genuinely care about me. Was patient and answered all my questions. Very polite. Gave me great coaching before I stood before the judge. He was a God sent in my life when I was in trouble. If I ever need legal help again I know where to go!

James was so helpful and generous with his time. We were strangers calling him up out of the blue but he immediately cared and invested time in explaining Texas law regarding landlords/tenants to us and helped us find the best, least expensive option to resolve our situation. We are new to San Antonio and he was the first person we met who we felt really cared and wanted to help. So grateful and will be referring him to anyone who needs a good attorney.

After receiving a letter from my former landlords falsely stating that I owed them a very large sum of money. I was very nervous about finding a lawyer who would take my case. James was very professional to work with. He is very knowledgeable about the law. He would explain each step of the process to me and he won the case for me. I would highly recommend hiring James if you are being strong armed by ruthless landlords.

Mr Meyrat is a great person. I live abroad and needed a lawyer to help me with my divorce in San Antonio and he was the only one who was willing to work on my case. He speaks french fluently which is really great when you are going through this kind of legal process. He has been very efficient and always quick to answer. I will never thank him enough for his help.
