Mark took over as my attorney when my previous lawyer became overwhelmed with cases. He has worked for me for almost 2 years. The last time we were in court was in 2021. During the last year Mark made mistakes that have now come to light, Mark lost his notes regarding the break down of child support and then Mark proceeded to go MIA for 4 months. Finally he reappeared and Pam (Not sure if she is a paralegal or his assistant.) entered the picture. Pam was utterly useless and unavailable. On May 10, 2022 I paid Mark James Law Firm a $3000.00 retainer and the very next day I was billed a $200 Initial consultation fee (Keep in mind he was already my attorney for almost 2 years). I was not made aware of this consultation fee until June 25th, 2022. I find this highly unethical and nonsensical

Been waiting over 10 months for custodial paperwork. All they had to do was type papers up and get them signed by a judge. And it’s still not done. James lost the info for us 6 TIMES. 6 TIMES they had to call me for our name DOB address etc. they keep saying we’re waiting on the judge….if you didn’t take months to type up paperwork and lose our info 6 times then we wouldn’t still be waiting. Don’t use this attorney. School starts Monday and I can’t register my sister due to NOT having this done in a time appropriate manner. Won’t answer my calls but called my grandpa to ask me to remove my review. Pitiful.
