unfortunately uneducated, condescending and an inflated ego with literally nothing to back it up. He gave me incorrect advice, which I'm not even surprised about with the amount of times he said "i think" or "you might be able to" (I confirmed with a separate lawyer later the same day that what he told me was absolutely not true and i had a case i could pursue easily). I've never had a professional bulldoze over every word i tried to say in such a rude and dismissive fashion, he had no interest in context or understanding the situation. Told me to contact the NYS CFPB and "educate myself" which i tried 4 times to tell him that i already have a case with them and he apparently didn't hear me once as he would start talking over me the moment I would try to tell him something. *********he had

Me and my wife had important documents drawn up by James Brearton's office. Mr. Brearton took the time to explain everything in a manner that the average American would understand. He explained it with class and dignity and with great humor. I received a call a few days before to confirm my appointment and everything was ready to sign when we arrived. At first James Brearton's office seemed alright. The secretary made it seem like they knew what they were doing and that you were going to be kept in the know. After they get your information they go dark. After reaching out many times you might get a message that is a sentence long and might not even answer the question you asked. After months of nothing you might get contacted about something they sent out that you were never told about. Overall this office makes you feel like nothing and rather not keep you updated unless you constantly ask for updates. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

I think this attorney forgot that he works for us not the other way around! Most unprofessional person I have ever encounter. Rude on the phone. Could not put two words in , he was in a hurry and sure made sure to let me know that. Avoid this law firm if you want to be treated with respect. Again don’t forget you work for us Mr Brearton, NOT the other way around
