I hired this attorney a while back believing my case would be handled smoothly and in a way that worked in my favor, especially since it was presented to me as a simple, straightforward matter. Unfortunately, that wasn’t how things turned out. By the end, after all the fees, I ended up paying more than what was originally being requested, which made the whole experience feel unnecessary and disappointing. I really wish the expectations had been set more honestly from the beginning. He straight up lied to me saying he knew the other parties attorneys and since they went to law school together it was going to be a case on my favor. I wouldn’t choose this attorney again.

I hired Mr Hughes and he neglected my case which resulted in a large judgement against me. I had to sue him as Pro Se for legal malpractice. The judge stated that he and another lawyer Mr Hughes had hired to work on the case with him that they were both grossly negligent. There is more to come via a public awareness story and a complaint issued to the Florida BAR Association as well. I do not recommend him !! Beware!!! The lawyer Mr Hughes had working with him was Mr Potts who was disbarred due to another case. I am making it my mission to get this story out there as this should never happen to anyone again as they truly ruined years of my life personally, emotionally and financially.
