Howard Law Firm, PLC

We hired this law firm to make sure our deed was allocated correctly and instead of making sure it was correct, they made it to where we are liable for 3 tracts of land that do not belong to us. We only own 1 acre, yet somehow they screwed up our deed so bad that we are now liable for 3 tracts of land. HOWARD LAW can not be trusted if you need to have your deed registered correctly. I've been trying to get them to fix their error for 16 days now. They have done absolutely nothing to fix the problem they created for us. Up to this point (16 days into it) Josh Howard is fully aware of the issue and never once tried to call me to offer to fix it. They won't answer their phone, won't answer emails. November is here, taxes are due, and they could care less. ---- Posting an UPDATE on 11/21/25 -

A attorney was appointed to my daughter and never once communicated with her during her case that was 6 months long. I was present at last court date and no lawyer was consulting with her. I called the office only to have some woman answering the phone burp over the phone, very unprofessional. Getting paid, but not consulting with their clients is not ok. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. I sincerely wish I would have read the reviews before paying him. He is literally doing the same thing to me and my boyfriend who have already paid him up front. He has not returned a call or email in several weeks despite the fact that we have court tomorrow. Very unprofessional. Will be seeking a refund and filing a complaint. *UPDATE* Went to get a refund after he told us to come to his office and pick up a check. He locked himself in the office and had his female coworkers say he wasn't there and then they called the police on us. Still have not received a refund or an itemized list of whatever he said he was charging us for.

I’d give them a 0 if I could.. They are awful… They have been working on my husbands case for around 3 years. They haven’t got us anything with a slam dunk case. They haven’t done nothing but tell us lies from The beginning. You can never get a hold of anyone besides BJ she’ll answer the phone take a message” she has been nothing but amazing to us “… then Josh Mellisa neither one will EVER call you back. Ur lucky to get a reply to a email.. My husband should had easily walked away with 300,000 from he’s case all we have seen is 1 check for 28,000.. I told my husband in the beginning to get a different lawyer he wishes now he would had listen to me.. I just want other people to know and be aware.. My husband‘s injury put him out of work for almost 5 months that was our only income I lost a

I thought I knew the ends and outs of taking care of things after losing a loved one. Josh and Whitney helped me save a lot of time, money and headache during a very difficult time. They took care of everything….they simply made things happen. I am grateful for the experience I had with their law firm given the circumstances and I will definitely go back there in the future if needed. Thanks, Josh and Whitney, for taking care of my family.
