One attorney Matt Weger was helpful but the other attorney, Amit Ranade who handled the mediation did not listen to my input and edits on the brief for the mediator and was really frustrating to deal with. He also made it sound like I could go and record a confession of judgment which secured the settlement note down at the court house when in fact, I had to hire a new attorney, file a complaint, set a motion to record and it may result in a trial unless the other party pays and agrees to a dismissal. The other problem is that because I was so frustrated, they terminated the relationship before the documents could be finalized for the settlement and note left me to fend for myself.
