I hired Steven Kropf to send a letter to my landlord last week, time was of the essence. He took my money and completely ignored me. I called his office today to speak with him and I was put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up. Called back, asked to speak with him, he was in a meeting and I told the Secy that if he didn't reach out to me, that I would seek my money back. Kropf finally calls me to tell me he's sending my money back. So, the letter wasn't sent, setting me back financially and now I need a new lawyer. Kropf is a total creep. Congrats Heilbrun and Pape, you just earned yourself an ethics complaint with the State!

I hired Steve Kropf to prepare a deed on my behalf, which I paid for in full at time of execution. Mr. Kropf is intentionally and improperly withholding the deed from me bc I didn’t retain his services for post divorce proceedings. His actions show that I made the right decision not to hire him. I have contacted the office to retrieve the deed, and Mr. Kropf advised via email that if I come to the office the police would be called, as I would be considered a trespasser. Subsequently, I have sent emails to both Ken Pape and Jared Pape to get the deed that is rightfully mine. I have not received a response from either of them.

Ken Pape is an amazing attorney! He was devoted, caring, and went above & beyond!
