I was referred to Hamburg Rubin Mullin Maxwell & Lupin by another respected firm to review a potential medical malpractice case. After more than a month of silence and another week of “reactivation,” I never received a single direct update from the attorneys handling my file. The case was ultimately declined without meaningful communication or explanation. Munley Law, the referring firm, stayed in touch and tried to follow up, but Hamburg’s lack of responsiveness made the process unnecessarily frustrating. Clients deserve timely updates and clear communication — especially when dealing with sensitive medical issues.

Was recommended from a family member of my husbands. Swore these were the people to call for the situation we were looking into. My initial inquiry was July 12th I followed up 3 times until August when I finally got a response to contact the assistant. Which I’m not sure why the assistant didn’t reach out to me sooner to inform me that the lawyer I was trying to reach was not available. But whatever I understood things were going on no big deal. Was it frustrating to no get anything back for almost a month? Yes of course but I understood based on circumstances. 2 weeks went by after the assistant reached out and it was silent again, I reached out again to follow up. Used Mullin at realtor’s recommendation for a small, straightforward issue. Not only did I have to call several times for updates or to remind them of a deadline, they charged me for the calls—which were necessitated by their lack of communication. Would not recommend.

This firm recently formed an LLC impersonating an existing registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, using the nonprofit's logo verbatim in both mailings and public signage (except for adding the text "LLC" at the bottom inconspicuously). The purpose was to decieve recipients into thinking that the materials originated from the nonprofit, which is opposing one of this firm's clients on a zoning and land development issue. The materials stated that the entity appearing to be the nonprofit supported their client's interests (contrary to the nonprofit's actual position). This type of behavior isn't acceptable or ethical. Being a law firm, I'm sure they will be able to skirt any potential legal consequences, which is unfortunate.
