CHEATERS -- THIEVES -- They took $8,204.20 for one Zoom call... I retained attorney Sarah Charette on Fri, Sep 19th at 11:32am. I wrote on Tue, Sep 30 at 6:20pm ET, please immediately stop all work, send me a final bill, and return the balance of my retainer. During those six full business days, I had one intro Zoom call with Sarah Charette on Thu, Sep 25th at 10am. On this call Sarah Charette plainly stated that she had not reviewed the details of my case. I went over the final bill with a different attorney who calculated a total amount of only $500 owed. To get my money back I now need to go through the lengthy process for fee arbitration and report Sarah Charette to the bar for unscrupulous billing.
