We had three different closings for condos in downtown Miami. I’d be giving only one star to this place if it weren’t for Ben Babcock. His commitment, responsiveness, and professionalism were outstanding. He consistently went the extra mile for us, solved communication problems we had with the firm, and overall made sure all three closings came together smoothly for us.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt an obligation to share this experience for future clients. Across three transactions involving multiple clients, Greenberg Traurig’s closing services were consistently disorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. Two out of three transactions involved financed buyers, yet the paralegals failed to provide requested documentation needed to process mortgage approvals in a timely manner. At the same time, there were repeated threats of late fees and constant references to the contracts being “cash,” creating the clear impression that financing clients were treated as secondary and that potential financing denials were inconsequential. More than one week has passed since the closing of our property, and we have yet to receive copies of our fully executed closing documents. Multiple written follow-ups were sent to Trisha Villegas, Ivette Gort, Daniella Reyes, and Stefany Almeida. Despite these efforts, no meaningful response or resolution has been provided. The firm’s failure to release property keys and deliver executed documents within a reasonable timeframe reflects a concerning lack of diligence and client communication. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt that it was important to make sure that any future customers know how terrible this place is. I went through a closing here at a building I bought into in Miami and it was the worst real estate experience of my life. Weeks would go by with no response responses to emails, they didn’t send money back on time, they didn’t send paperwork back on time, and the professionalism was beyond. Unacceptable. I know people that are still waiting on documents to be sent that I’ve closed weeks ago and were told that everything was taken care of. We were told by the staff multiple times that they were overloaded by work, so it seems in my opinion that the firm bids on jobs that they’re not ready to take. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. These people should NOT be handling real estate transactions. By far the WORST experience I’ve ever had. Unprofessional. Unresponsive. They simply do not care. paralegal was Yvette Gort. We had 0 communication with attorney.
