Got a letter from them in November, asked for proof or owner ship. Called once I got it and told them neither me or my husband are working at the moment, was told to call back in a few weeks or they would and was assured it wouldn't go to court this was on December 18th 2025. Got served court papers on 1/9/26, called today was told sorry they still have to proceed and that they where sorry there representative miss informed me and that I dont have to respond to the court summons.

They don't even deserve a 1 star. ​Incredibly heartless and unprofessional. My partner reached out via email months ago to resolve a matter, but Gordon Aylworth & Tami, PC completely ignored the outreach only to garnish his wages 8 months later without warning. We never received letters at our residence, yet they claim letters were sent. ​When we called to resolve this, the staff was hostile and threatened to hang up on us because we couldn’t afford a massive lump sum payment. They showed zero empathy for the fact that we are a single-income family or that they are taking money directly away from our children’s necessities. Got sent papers back in April 2025 and I responded back like I was offered to letting them and the courts know my situation and what was going on. I NEVER denied that I owed money but also asked to make payments. 6 months later I get a letter certified mail a judgment and that they will start to garnish my wages. Not only have I read on here on other reviews that this is typical of this law firm to go after families with kids, during the holidays. Not only did I email to offer to make them payments and a week later did they just now respond telling me no??? If they would have sent me something 6 months ago about paying this would have been done 2 months ago. But this is so heartless of this firm do this during this time of year. Horrible, heartless company. Sent me a wage garnishment notification on Thanksgiving. Despite my calling them, explaining that I'm HOMELESS. Update: they are refusing any payment plan under 221 dollars a month, and insisted I was irresponsible for being unable to pay that homeless. Genuinely scum of the earth. Refusing the payments I can afford knowing that if they garnish I won't be able to pay the hotel I live in while I'm looking for a place and it will force myself and my DISABLED dependent onto the street coming into Chrismas. I recieved a writ of garnishment back in October, I immediatly called this firm to work out a payment plan which they refused, so I filed for exemption with this firm and the appropriate superior court, as I am well below washington states poverty line, and do not meet the minimum ammount to be legally garnished, I never heard anything back from this "law firm" and now my $823 biweekly pay is being garnished. I can no longer afford my mortgage, utility bills. Pretty sure they've broken the law on multiple fronts in my situation. Im currently looking into a lawyer to assist me with this.
