I was suppenoed to witness as a victim in a case. I contacted the state's attorneys and informed them that I had no information to provide about their case, but I was ignored and forced to appear at 8:30 on a workday. All of us, the witnesses, the defendents, the lawyers, and the police were made to wait in a courthouse hallway for our case to be called. There were not nearly enough seats - more than half of us had to stand and wait. After 4 hours of waiting for our case to be called, we (myself and the other witnesses in the case) were told we could leave because the defendents were likely to plead guilty. The whole morning was a horrible experience. It was literally being in jail - I could not leave, I could not sit down, everybody stuck like stale cigarettes, people were cursing, it w

Although everything is fine I actually didn't place the call, and we did send a letter and that, well.., will need some attention.

Have always been very helpful. The people I have dealt with at the office were concerned and answered my questions. Always returned my calls promptly. As a victim of a crime I felt well supported. Now the Hagerstown City Police is another story.

I was burglarized several times and they caught the individuals who did it. Red-handed with my property and dropped the charges and treated me like a child! Telling me there are here to listen and I would never be able to recoup the money (7900$ in products and damages)then it took over 2 weeks to file a piece of paper to release the stuff they caught them with. Horrible person and disgrace to the state,country!

Severe ethics issues, sexism, discrimination, you name the civil rights concerns and you have them in this office. They need to be investigated and some of them need to be thrown in prison for blatant civil rights violations.
