If could give no stars, I would. I sincerely regret not reading the previous review before choosing a particular attorney from this law firm. I now find myself in complete agreement with the individual who left the one-star review before me, as my experience was equally distressing. Throughout my case, I felt that this attorney was focused solely on his own interests and showed little empathy for my situation as a parent. His lack of understanding led him to discourage me from fighting for the most important part of my life--my children. During an already difficult and vulnerable time, I placed my trust in someone who was supposed to advocate for me, yet I often felt dismissed and overlooked. Michael Gavin wrote a very threatening letter for his client to place into my mailbox and claims that it was just a standard collections letter. I owe no money to Gavin's client and I have also done nothing illegal. This is by definition extortion and police were immediately notified. As a lawyer one would expect him to know the laws better but fortunately enough for me the Minnesota court system handled everything just fine.

I personally used Ben Stabenow at the beginning of a messy divorce. I can honestly say that the service provided was astonishingly dismal to say the least. I relinquished Ben Stabenow of his services & went with a different attorney. They couldn’t believe the position I was in. They assumed my outcome, up to that point, would’ve been better with self representation (their opinion, looking back mine also). The attorneys I acquired after Ben did a GREAT job. Very proactive at reversing what was or wasn’t done in the beginning. I would recommend them in a heart beat! Ben was great at one thing….asking for continuous retainers for further representation. I have personally never left a review in my life, but feel the need in this situation!

My child deserves better representation. This place doesn't look out for their so-called clients' best interest. Then, when people like me do, they feel threatened. Because I call them out on not doing their jobs. You can't look out for a clients best interest when you know zero about them and don't educate yourself. After it's all said and done with actions, speak louder than words. You'll notice the company's negative response because they can't take criticism and do their jobs better.

I love working with Lori Mouldan and Mike Gavin! They have made the court process for my Mother In Laws Guardianship/Conservatorship, estate, and paperwork for my own parents wills, along with our own personal wills so easy to go through! I highly recommend going to their office! You will not be disappointed!
