I was the one constantly reaching out for updates, sending photos, and asking about progress on my case. I did not receive proactive updates, and no one made it clear early on that my case might not meet their criteria. After several months, I was told my injuries “weren’t severe enough” to move forward — after only a few attempts were made to contact the dog owner.
