Fred D. Hummel Attorney At Law

I don't recommend Fred! In my experience with him , I felt he was sexist, he really didn't want to hear my daughter's or my side of the story. He kept cutting us off as we tried to talk to him. However he listened to my husband, my daughter and I were treated like second class citizens. We were hiring him to defend my daughter. I don't believe he put in any true effort into her case. Fred chose to just have her go with a plea deal. He treated her like she was guilty the whole time he was to be defending her. Even though there wasn't any proof of any wrong doing by her. Her life is now quite challenging because he chose to take the easy way out and not put any effort into her.

I ended up parting ways with this lawyer on a death penalty case. However, Fred knows the law. Fred is also very ethical with the law. He's the guy you want to go to when you first get charged. I obtained invaluable connections, resources, and reading material from him. He isn't the best at client connection. He's honest. Hard to find in a lawyer. Overall, better than a majority of lawyers out there. I'd hire him to defend me.

Fred represented me in a case in Indiana County in 2010. We went to trial and Fred got the results that we wanted!! He did this as a court appointed attorney and he worked harder than any other attorney I have had, even the paid ones!!

Don’t recommend for child custody cases. Waste of money I got more accomplished without an attorney than I did with him. Might be good for other cases but not custody! Didn’t guide me as I feel an attorney should.
