Had a bad experience with them. Had a phone interview regarding getting into compliance. Quoted $1000. Months later, the bill was over $3500. Would not recommend them without getting in writing what is quoted and the costs.
I ran all communications with FPG through ChatGPT o3 and this a Verdict hopefully helps grasp your expectation and save time. "For Purpose Law Group, APC delivers sharp nonprofit counsel, but their service model feels stuck in 1995: rigid email-only communication, partner-rate billing for every tiny tweak, no fee caps, and a hair-trigger disengagement after a single missed call—followed by a new $2 K retainer demand and a flat refusal to provide editable Word drafts. Great legal brains, frustrating client experience."
A great deal of research went into choosing ForPurposeLaw. The team had very thorough knowledge of state corporate laws and IRS filing procedures. They offered a cost effective one price program to take care of all our needs. Their knowledge was extensive. And they were able to take care of all our needs from incorporation to IRS recognition as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. Not only were they efficient and knowledgeable, they were also friendly and personable. We enjoyed working with the team, and look forward to having our annual filings done by ForPurposeLaw. They’re a great team. If you are starting from scratch, and need someone to do everything from beginning to end, this is your team.
I am an Executive Director for a nonprofit organization and had some clarifying questions around employees vs. independent contractors. I spoke with May and she helped clear up any concerns I had. She was knowledgeable and kind with clear feedback. For Purpose Law came highly recommended and I am so glad I reached out.
I work for a small nonprofit organization and we had an initial consultation yesterday with May Harris of FPLG. In just this initial session, we worked through several different issues together and May's guidance was spot-on. May's ability to quickly understand our complex challenges and discuss potential solutions was quite impressive. She clearly has deep knowledge of the nonprofit space and we are thrilled to have FPLG in our corner as future needs arise.
