Beware of Florida Disability Services. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received and felt that my experience as an English-speaking client was not handled professionally. I visited the office twice in February 2026 (mid-February and again toward the end of the month). The office hours are limited to Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and when I initially tried contacting them by phone, I was unable to reach anyone for some time. When I finally did call, the phone system provided prompts for both English and Spanish speakers. During my first visit, I briefly met with a Social Security lawyer and the receptionist. She explained the consultation process and the associated appointment fee. Based on that information, I returned for a second visit, scheduled my consultation, and

I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer i wasted 4 years trusting him and he did not do his job when my case got denied he told we are in this til the end and then he told me that in order to proceed i had to pay him an extra $600 which lawyers dont charge unless they win i guess since he knew that the case was lost so he just wanted to get some money out of me. I paid him the money to keep fighting and then i get a letter saying that the 60 days time frame to appeal was over because he never sent the paper work or called in to inform social security causing me the only chance i had to appeal then he calls me to let me know that there was one last step which is to sue which he does not do. I lost my case due to his lack of effort and unprepared he lied to me right in my face
