It is with a medley of emotions that I write this review. As a general rule, I do not bring up a couple of months in my life in which I was faced with the toughest of decisions and trying to digest the dizzying sequence of events that led me to Josh Engel's office is still difficult. Nevertheless, this is the first Google Review I have written and it is because I wish to share with you, if I may, how Josh's impact on my life has been a profoundly positive one. I had given up hope until the day that a ten-minute phone call with Josh brought me a measure of comfort I surely fail to adequately articulate with words alone. My son was assigned 2 court appointed lawyers/public defenders. The 1st lawyer Ms. Andrea was very sweet, honest, and always called us back because my son gave us permission to be informed about his case. We were sadly informed by Ms. Andrea that my son would be assigned a new attorney and he was terrible. Joshua Engle was assigned to my son. I called Mr. Engle SEVERAL times and he never ever returned my call for almost 5 months. In the meantime I started looking for another attorney because I had a feeling this man really could care less about my son. He showed it, by never calling us back and saying things to my son but he doesn't think that I know what he was telling my son but I know everything. Today I was told to call him, of course I left a message but this time he called me back

My experience working with Engel & Martin was very positive. Both Mr. Engel and Mr. Martin took time to understand my issues with my previous employer and helped me determine the best legal course of action to take. They were professional. aggressive and efficient in moving my claim through the court system. The end result was a reasonable settlement of monetary and related issues. The entire staff at their Mason, Ohio offices were friendly, professional and responsive.

Engel & Martin helped our family navigate a child custody case and did a fantastic job. Opposing counsel was extremely aggressive and we believed we were in a hopeless situation. Absolute worse experience of my life involving so called professionals. Quick to take the money up front but even quicker to slack and drag out not getting my case filed. Original lawyer Mary just passed down my case after doing my consultation and they went 7 weeks and never even filed it. I have all the emails to show how much unprofessional they are. They cost me valuable time in regards of my custody case. Would represent myself before using this law office.
