Enbody Dugaw & Enbody

I hired Enbody & Dugaw because Mr. Dugaw helped me with Healthcare POA docs for my adoptive dad. When my Mom died I decided to use this firm again. Unfortunately, Mr. Dugaw retired, so I utilized Mr. Enbody for DPOA documents for my dad. In the end, what was needed was accomplished, but not without Mr. Dugaw’s impatient, snarky tone, as if I was bothering him, and his legal secretary being on the abrupt, snarky side herself. I also have concern that I was overcharged. Mr. Dugaw initially pursued my signing a Quit Claim deed as my parents had no formal will. In hindsight, this just turned out to be more billable hours and less money for my dad’s estate. I DO NOT recommend this Two-bit firm.

Mr. Dugaw was the the attorney for the opposing party in my case. I was absolutely shocked & moved that he went to such a great length to try to ensure a just & fair hearing. It was clear the commissioner had bias against me and I wasn't receiving fair treatment. He threatened her file a civil justice complaint against Her if she didn't step down.. She removed herself from the case.

I hired Dugaw to represent me after my husband surprised me with divorce papers. Dugaw acted like he was on my side and agreed to fight for my daughter and I. As soon as I gave him a check, however, he flipped his tune and started bullying me to settle. He was just flat out mean to me. He completely railroaded me and made me feel uncomfortable to ask him questions. Honestly, all of these Lewis County lawyers are buddy-buddy. I recommend seeking council in Olympia. After 24 hours, I had no choice but to agree with Dugaw that I should find other representation. Afterwards , he talked about me to my husband’s attorney! Very unprofessional and uncouth. Dugaw is a terrible person and should not be hired.

I see a lot of bad reviews which is why I was inclined to write mine here. I recently went threw a very rough divorce process. Paul was my lawyer and did an amazing job I got shared custody of my son and he was very fast about getting everything in. He was a great lawyer for me I was impressed.

This is the best attorney I've ever met Joseph Enbody sr. Has helped my family so many time from when I was a child to now helping with my kids, renters rights, an even gave legal advice on L & I and ssi even thought he dosnt do that kind of law practice but that's the kind of person he is always helping people at least in my opinion and experience.
