Kenzie was very pleasant to work with & helped explain complex law language in a way that I could comprehend. She was efficient & had great communication throughout the whole process. All of the staff, from front desk to other attorneys, were kind and helpful. I felt that I was in good hands, & well taken care of at Ellis Law Firm.

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM!! Their webpage is a fancy way to get you to call them. I contacted this firm the day after I was arrested which was 2 weeks prior to the initial appearance date. Their secretary advised that she would pass my information along and call or email me soon. After a week I followed up.. expressing my concern that I has not heard from a lawyer... The secretary again stated that the lawyer was reviewing the case and would be contacting me soon and they were aware of the initial appearance date. Another week goes by and here we are one day before and still no call from Ellis law firm. So I call again and this time I was not nearly as nice which is to be expected. I asked if it was normal practice to disregard new clients and never call them back? One day before the appear

After my grandfather passed away in December of 2021, I received a letter from Ellis Law Firm stating that I was an heir to his estate along with a copy of my grandfather's will. His will stated that each of his grandkids were to receive $1,000 but now Ellis Law Firm is claiming that his grandkids get nothing. Ellis Law Firm is run by people who are clearly not fit to practice law. Please be aware of this shady law firm. 1 star is still 5 stars too many.

1 star is way to much to give this law firm. I was not impressed with them. Their lack of communication with executors. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They drag their feet on closing estates. I feel that they only look at $$$ signs to line their pockets. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM. Unfortunately my father's oldest daughter hired them because they are located close to where she lives.

Called around to several attorneys in central Iowa to handle an issue of libel against me. None were interested, probably because there wasn't a lot of money in it, until James Rowe at Ellis Law said he would take it on to send a message to certain people and companies that they needed to be responsible for the lies they tell about others. James and Ellis Law were very responsive to my needs and very professional in obtaining an apology and retraction from those who wrote the untruthful statements made about me. Everyone I corresponded with or talked to at Ellis provided the finest service and the value to me was more than I paid them. I highly recommend James and Ellis Law to anyone needing legal assistance.
