Ellis County District Attorney

The District Attorney in Ellis County doesn’t even review the discovery, and the bail rates in the county are excessive, violating the 8th Amendment. This has led to a situation where the District Attorney and the Waxahachie Police Department behave as if they are above the law, operating without accountability or regard for legal standards. This disregard for due process and the constitutional rights of individuals is deeply concerning. The 8th Amendment of the United States Constitution explicitly prohibits excessive bail, ensuring that individuals are not subjected to unreasonable financial burdens while awaiting trial. Law enforcement/ employees of Irving has told me that it's not just them involved with the way things are done and they were going to prove to me that a state can pick up charges without someone pressing charges. This was in February of last year. They use people's mothers death to take advantage of their case. Lack of leadership from the top. They take cases to court without calling all witnesses just to get a "false conviction or plea"

This District Attorney has a racial disparity in how they try and handle cases. If it's white on white or black on white crime....they get to working immediately. If it's BLACK ON BLACK crime, they don't prosecute those as often, or as harshly as they would the aforementioned. This is why I have asked a governmental entity to look at their cases for racial discrimination.

The district attorney’s office has allowed c companies to strip all human rights and liberties as well as destroy constitutional rights, for the comfort of themselves.
