Chris came out to get the electric panel sorted out and add a ground bar. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Doug was also very accessible and helpful. They didn't charge us to come back when they need Ameren to unlock the meter. Great experience from start to finish.

First of all, my fiance put a review on here, and they took it off because they didn't like what she said on the review. She called this company to put an electric outlet in for her electric fireplace. The person they sent out was named Chris. The outlet was to be accessible to her in case she needed to replace the electric fireplace. Well, the electric fireplace insert stopped working so we needed to buy a new one. We went to unplug the insert and could not find the outlet. She called the company again to come out to show us where the outlet was. Chris came back out, and it took him 30 minutes to find it. He had to remove the brick flooring panel and the fireproof metal plate just to find the outlet. I asked him if he thought that was accessible and he said yes. I asked him if he tho

Had Eckelcamp Electric add a Tesla charger. Elijah was awesome and courteous, he told me up front, if I need it done right now he can’t, but if I can wait he would get to me. Surely about a month later they called scheduled the visit… they allowed me to purchase some items and they were extremely reasonable. The day of the install, Chris showed up, asked me a few questions about location, surface mount,.. and less than 3 hours later it was done and works very well. Thank you guys for great work, fair price and getting it done.

At the company I work for., we have used Eckelkamp for several projects and they always do a great ! Most recently we had a slight emergency and Shad came to the rescue! . Not only was he professional but he was so cordial and funny, we really enjoyed the somewhat challenging situation and he got us back up and running in record time! We will ask for him in the future! We were having problems with our hot water heater had no power to it,called our home warranty and told them the problem,they sent out someone to check hot water heater and was told electrical problem,called home warranty told them I needed an electrician. After waiting two weeks with no hot water finally got ok to find electrician on my own. Called Ecmelkamp Electric Co. This was on Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon,talked to Doug told him my problem he was very understanding and told me he has an electrician getting off but would see what he could do. He called me back in less than 5 min.and said his man would be there in about half an hour,needless to say I was overwhelmed. Chris showed up in about 15 minutes and fixed my problem.
