Doug Ruge is one of the worst attorneys I’ve dealt with. He filed a judgement lien against someone a loaned $27K to. Once the property was sold I would have gotten my money back. I was never informed nor updated that the judgement lien had expired, therefore, getting $0 back. If you want to spend $60 on a 10 min phone call or a simple email don’t hire this man. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

I have had the opportunity to consult with Doug on various occasions. I have found Doug to be very fair with his assessment, pointing out different perspectives and ways to approach a legal challenge. It should be no surprise that this Eagle Scout is extremely honest and always prepared. I have also hired Doug to represent me and he has a perfect winning record. I admire his willingness to provide brief consultation to help you decide if full legal representation is necessary. I highly recommend Doug for any legal matter. We had a property line dispute with a builder in our subdivision and tried to work with them on our own to resolve this disagreement. They didn't take us seriously and told us they would let us know when they were going to rip up part of our driveway. Then we hired Doug. After that, everything changed, the builder backed down and we kept our driveway intact. His experience and knowledge of historical case law, was a key factor in the resolution of our issue. I hope I don't need a lawyer for anything like this ever again but if I did, Doug would be my first call.

I hired this firm in a real estate matter and wasn’t helped with anything besides false information and increased billing in which Mr. Ruge took me to court for. He’s not as informative as his reviews say!… My situation that he was supposed to take care of was later taken care of by Welch law with great results. Mr. Ruge is lucky to have a 1 star ⭐️ review from us!
