This place is a joke or just a system picks and chooses when where and what it does. The order of protection did absolutely nothing, Even though it was part of a person’s bond, they still broke the order of protection and we’re still able to bond out what happened to if they break the order of protection it revoke their bond completely and you wonder why victims continue to get hurt or they don’t do anything at all. I understand due process But I also know ascension parish runs off of the Almighty dollar instead of actually putting families in lives interest first.

Told me I couldn't file a written complaint against their employees for giving inaccurate legal information. A DA who claimed to be a supervisor stated that the only way to file a complaint was verbally through her. This from a lawyer whose job description is actually to document EVERYTHING in writing. Also refused to meet with me privately in their office to discuss the complaint after stating they were a supervisor, and instead had me state the complaint in the presence of the employees I was filling the complaint against. She then stated sarcastically, in the direction of the employee, that they would receive "the harshest penalty possible". We’ve been dealing with a case for over two years now and all I’m asking for is the tiniest bit of humanity when dealing with cases that are sensitive. Just some speck of consideration and consistent updates. Even if that update is to say “the trial has been postponed”. When trial dates happen and you try and call them for information it would be nice to at least be able to get in ANY contact at all with an update. People are dealing with ptsd, therapy and trauma and having to dread the upcoming trial date. That’s already bad enough. To call multiple times and never get a response weeks after the trial, having to sit in the dark not knowing is worse than anything. I’m just asking for kindness. Please return your missed calls.

If I could post zero I would. They arrest ppl for nothing set high bonds and 4 court dates later it's rejected due to lack of evidence. Innocent until proven guilty my ass
