While I believe in the importance of supporting women, the integrity of the D.A. depends on verifying all claims — regardless of the gender that makes them. When statements are accepted without careful review, especially in the presence of clear inconsistencies, the process risks favoring perception over fact. When someone is falsely convicted, it is their life and time that are taken — time they will never get back. Justice must be applied equally to BOTH parties. Failing to do so not only denies fairness but can irreparably damage a person’s life, a consequence that cannot be undone.

I have left 3+messages with my VA and haven’t received a call back. I have left detailed messages regarding my case and the importance of me speaking with her and she still hasn’t called back. It’s like they don’t care about what I have to say but they run with what they want to believe and say. They should be advocating for me but how could they haven’t called me back yet and if I haven’t spoken to anyone yet. I call reception and nobody answers either. Idk what else to do but to show up to court and advocate for myself which will probably affect my case but I have no other choice since they won’t answer my calls or return my calls.

My first impression of this organization is NOT good. After listening to their phone ring for over 3 minutes, I got a message saying no one was able to take my call, leaving a message. I won't hold my breath waiting for a call back. I bet if they hired a couple kids from any special Ed class in the country, they would be able to answer the phone when a taxpayers calls.

These guys are the real MVP's of the justice system... Curious about how bad the system has become? Just watch all the lawyers and judges call a National Fixed League football game. So for personal example these guys have forced me to come to a court date for a case as a eye witness that has been canceled 6 times over the last 4 years because either they didn't have the person in question, they had him and then lost him, they couldn't find him after they had him and lost em again, and each different time they didn't notify me or all the other people forced to come to court... there excuse was well we called all the numbers that you didn't give us to contact you to let you know court was canceled and you didn't have to drive 60 miles at 7 am for no reason... My experience with the Victims of Advocacy department has been beyond terrible! Supervisor is dismissive and rude, blames other departments for their lack of communications. There is no advocacy here, in contrary, they make the victims beg for help. I wonder how many victims are in our county that have been neglected and belittled by this office. We have had a case open for 4 months and have had to hound them for information. Its disheartening that this office blatantly does not care for their victims.
