If you have the unfortunate need of these services, you better hope and pray you don't get Michelle Stephen's. Worst public defender we've ever had. She never went over anything with us, never even discussed the case with us, and then when we were in front of the judge she doesn't speak a word! You're way better off representing yourself than being represented by Michelle Stephen's. We were in front of the judge and didn't understand something she "shushed" us! What even is her point in being there?

Belinda is extremely rude! She has no form of customer service or compassion on anyones situation. She claims she is the supervisor, which I highly doubt especially the nasty degrading attitude she had. I never raised my phone nor curse at her. She continuously cut me off. And purposely doesn’t answer the phone. The attorney that was assigned has a full mailbox. But Belinda continuously encouraged for me to leave a message and never gave me a solid solution. After trying to ask questions she blatantly hung up. Left a message stating that all calls since the case started have been recorded, but this last phone call being extremely unprofessional and nasty. Whoever the supervisor or superior over this poor knowledge lacking is I hope you see this and process to terminate Belinda for poor and

This group is very unprofessional they do not return phone calls they tell you that they have done something and then when you check on it that is actually not been done this is the worst group of attorneys I've ever seen in my life not only does our attorney lie to you but so does the main supervisor when you reach out to contact the supervisor over McCracken county he don't return a phone call either knowing that somebody that is on a tight budget this is the only way they can go they are railroading people they don't do their jobs correctly and nobody can stand up to them. because they believe they're in the right

Margot is one of the least professional defense attorney I have ever seen. She refuses to make contact with her clients outside of the court room and even so, acts too busy to listen or says she has somewhere else to be. Very disorganized with scheduling and argues with the judge when requests are made. Very unprofessional in her demeanor and all around a rude person. She makes unnecessary comments to cut down the other party and gives them dirty looks. When I was in court, my least favorable experience was having to see her. She treats clients and the opposition with little or no respect. I guess that's what happens when you can't afford a real attorney.

GREAT people!!! Great people that really, really care! I could not possibly thank them enough for helping my daughter. They have a very hard job that I'm sure is too often thankless, I for one thank them from the bottom of my heart!!!!
