I engaged this firm to draft a purchase agreement for a business acquisition. I met with Jay Dell in October for a detailed consultation, was told the agreement would take approximately 2-3 weeks, and paid my retainer at that time. That timeline was reasonable. Four weeks later, I received a call from Jay Dell asking whether I still wanted to proceed. He acknowledged that he had completely forgotten about the engagement. I confirmed that I did and asked them to move forward. Nearly two months after the original meeting, I received a rough draft. Fortunately, my deal was not time-sensitive.
