For starters, they pressed me very hard in the beginning on setting up auto payment for the monthly $600 fee that was supposedly all inclusive. At first they were very communicative until a lawyer was actually assigned to my case. We discussed all the situations surrounding my separation and filing for divorce as well as child custody. Over the course of the six months that I had them retained, there was absolutely nothing filed on my behalf. No paperwork was ever submitted in my case and the lawyer that assigned to my case, Mary Lauren Hammonds, was barely responsive. I could not ever get a hold of anyone at the actual attorney’s office to follow up on my case and nothing was ever

I hired Davies & Associates, Attorneys at Law, who charged me directly and then referred me to the external attorney Mary Hammonds. It turned out to be one of the worst experiences: no communication, no professionalism, and absolutely zero progress on my case. After paying nearly $6,000, I received nothing in return. I have now learned that she was dismissed, but that does not solve the main issue: the refund of my money or the firm’s responsibility for assigning her in the first place. Their business model seems to focus on charging monthly fees and dragging out cases rather than solving clients’ problems. I strongly recommend anyone reading this to be very cautious. I am a former director of a large law firm, and I can confidently say that Mary Hammons is the best attorney that has ever existed. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly, she truly cares about her clients. Honestly, this Earth is a better place because she is on it. Even these words are not enough to describe how wonderful of an attorney she is. Her paralegal Elizabeth is also such a blessing and so great at her craft. Lack of communication, professionalism and follow through. Attorney Mary Hammons, says she cares deeply but her actions speak differently. I'll first start out on her response rate which is lack luster. Even when she claimed she was working on a mofifcation that we were willing to pay for, she completely fell off the face of the esrth since February. Her complete disregard to pay attention to details cost us alot, that could've been avoided if a better review of the materials provided was completed. You cannot ace a test if you dont put the efforts in studying, the same principle goes for prepping for cases. They have guided me every step of the way and have been transparent throughout the entire process.
