I first retained David McArtor in 2007 for a case that had all odds stacked against me. Not only did he win my case, he and his staff always made me feel like family. When I needed an attorney for a completely different matter in 2023, there was no doubt in my mind as to who I would contact, Mr. McArtor. When I walked into the office, everyone greeted me by name and even remembered the names of my children. It was exactly what I needed during a traumatic and difficult time. Once again, he won my case. I’m a female and at no time have I ever felt uncomfortable around anyone in that office. Reading the review below is why I felt the need to write mine. I have been a client of David McArtor & Co. for 3 years for custody matters. I can not say enough about him and his office staff, especially Jess. She was always bright, understanding, easy to talk to! David ALWAYS made me feel comfortable and confident in the decisions I was making from the initial consultation to the final resolution. He is excellent with communicating, being transparent, and ALWAYS ensuring that my rights as a parent were protected and that the best interests of my children were always prioritized. I used David's office for two matters. Not only did he make me uncomfortable during my divorce, putting his hands on my legs in a courthouse, but his protege Brad took my retainer for a lawsuit they were to supposed to help me with. They took my money, but did absolutely nothing. During my divorce David convinced me to settle even though my ex had violated numerous court orders, and was abusing our foster child. Now I'm stuck constantly fighting to get my ex to follow our settlement agreement. 100% do not recommend. If you are a woman, find someone else. Anyone else.

Divorce is obviously not easy, but David, Brad, and Jess put my experience more at ease with their incredible amount of knowledge and sincere consideration for me. They genuinely care about the well being of their clients and were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend McArtor to represent you if you are going through a domestic relations case.

Complete waste of time and money!!! MY wife and I used this office and hired David's wife Michelle Slimak for our step parent adoption. After 12 months and over 6k dollars later we were no closer to the end of an uncontested adoption then from the file date. Given the run around with false information while just adding to the bill. We hired a new attorney and completed our adoption 5 months later with no issues at all.
