I retained this attorney and paid a retainer in good faith, but my experience was disappointing. Communication became unprofessional, and I was pressured to sign an agreement after payment rather than before. When I requested a refund for services not performed, I was told that my refund would only be issued if I signed an agreement restricting me from sharing my experience on social media or elsewhere. I found this troubling and inconsistent with the level of professionalism and transparency clients should expect. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney.

David Gevanter is very unprofessional and I regret putting my trust in him to handle my case. He took our money and never attempted to review or work on my case . Any time my husband or I asked for an update on our case , he was very defensive, condescending and rude . David kept telling my husband and I that he had many other cases he is working on that pays more than ours and that he has other things to deal with . He hung up the phone on me and we are now currently trying to get our money back on our case he never attempted to review. We feel scammed . David Gevanter lacks the professionalism of being a lawyer and I truly wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.
