Run from this Burnight lawyer! I was going to have him do a super easy deed transfer for me. Turns out he basically knew zero about the new prop19 laws and special exception forms you need to fill out to avoid reassessment. Doing simple investigating by myself, a call to the Assessors Office and I found out my property assessment is not changing. This lawyer charged me HUGE just to call and do an inquiry about doing my deed. HE DID NOT TELL ME HE WAS BILLING ME FOR A BASIC CALL INQUIRY. Very very unethical. On top of charging for a phone call, he begged me to come in for a free consolation. I basically found out this guy knows zero about current Deed Transfer Laws and wanted to play games with lien searches and charge me monster money for just the consolation with ZERO retainer s
