I have witnessed first hand this to be far from the truth. She may advocate for her clients, regardless of what is true or not, because she definitely doesn't advocate for what is best for children involved. Attorneys are expected to zealously advocate for the clients within the bounds of the law and ethical rules. She is very misleading and harms the broader pursuit of fairness. Mrs. Gabel-Upton is the “Worst ever” (see previous reviews) if she’s representing your ex and you walk away with nothing. 🤣 After seeing her performance in court several times and meeting with her outside of court, I would hire her every time! 🙌 She’s wise and strategic and knows how to expose truth well. Christena Silvey is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever had. She allowed my child support case to be drug on for 2 yrs. I only wanted a reduction in the child support as I lost my job and was not making the amount of money I had previously. She said having a stay put on my case wouldn’t cause any back pay in child support. I ended up having to pay more than I can afford plus the two years back pay. Christena would never get back to me in a timely manner and when she would get back to me it felt as though she was giving me threats and ultimatums rather than helping me. It seemed as though she was working for my ex. She never once treated me with respect or dignity. Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. The woman never introduced herself. When we couldn't understand something because she's so poor explaining she would either laugh in a demeaning way or huff like a child. Very unconcerned and condescending the whole time. I almost walked out before we were done. Do not recommend!
