When Kerry Skillin left CRC, CRC refused to transfer my client's file unless I agreed to release CRC from liability. Aside from this issue, CRC's rates are astronomical!

My lawyer suggested using CRC to show my ex could be earning more $ in order to reduce my child support. However, CRC rates are astronomical and they spent far more billable hours than they initially estimated. In the end, with a lower weekly child support payment, I will barely recoup what CRC charged. I recommend doing the math before hiring this firm to be sure you can recoup their charges. My second issue involves retaining CRC myself after firing my lawyer. After paying them an outrageous sum via my lawyer, they wanted another huge nonrefundable retainer in order for me to use their name in my court documents. CRC agreed to a 50% refund if no additional work was required on my case.
