the worst experience I have ever had. 10 months of nothing from Bethany Rishell. claims she never used my 5,000 retainer fee for her vacations yet it was the exact same time she was just retained. 3 cases of mine she fails time and time again. due to her not even looking at any of the COURT ORDERS! you claim you do your job yet you and your assistant couldn't even bother to send me my most recent Court order, I had to ask my son's father and his lawyer for the court order. I SPOKE WITH your boss and his office had apologized for how Harrisonburg location had been treating my case then tried to fire me as a client after I brought these issues to their attention. Will be filing complaints through the BAR association. EDIT+ YOU RESPONDED LIKE YOU ACTUALLY DID ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR JOB????!!! Y

Bethany Rishell is AMAZING! She was my consulting attorney from the Harrisonburg location. She was professional, kind, and aware that I didn’t understand all of the legal language explaining everything politely and clearly. I regret ever trusting Cravens & Noll in Harrisonburg. My experience was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. Communication was poor, follow-up was nonexistent, and I constantly felt ignored once they had my payment. What should have been straightforward legal guidance turned into endless delays and confusion. There was no sense of urgency, accountability, or respect for my time or situation. If you value responsiveness, honesty, and professionalism, look elsewhere. Harrisonburg has many other firms that actually treat clients like people — not numbers.

Terrible experience at Cravens & Knoll. Billing was a mess from the beginning—unclear charges, mistakes that had to be corrected multiple times, and zero accountability. On top of that, the attitude was dismissive and borderline rude whenever questions were raised, as if basic explanations were an inconvenience. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a frustrating ordeal due to incompetence and poor professionalism. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
