My experience with Attorney Morgan Beaty at the Chesterfield Virginia, 23831 Public Defender’s Office was deeply disappointing and left me feeling unsupported at one of the most stressful moments of my life. From the very beginning, his demeanor came across as arrogant dismissive and condescending. Instead of treating me like a client whose rights and concerns matter, he often acted as if he was above me — more interested in asserting superiority than providing guidance. Any time I raised legitimate constitutional concerns or shared research to better understand my case, he became defensive. This review is specifically for Christian Jones as an attorney. It would be 5 stars if I could only rate him. This office can be a great resource if you need it but it definitely depends on which attorney you are assigned too. Look for one with experience. You will need to exercise patience but they are working for you behind the scenes. Christian remained professional throughout the process, explained everything in detail, was straight forward about my options and potential outcomes so I could make an informed well thought-out decision. Ultimately, he got me the results I wanted and deserved. I'm not a huge fan of any lawyer but this is the first time I felt like a professional genuinely had my back. I would recommend him over and over again. Go with Jones if you want to win!

The attorneys took a personal approach to my case and took the time to invest in my well-being and future. My entire experience was top-notch, from the paralegal assistants who met with me and answered all of my calls with kindness and patience to my attorney who genuinely cared about me as a client. I can't say enough positive things about this office and the representation they provide to Chesterfield County! I appreciate each and every one of you. Mr Drewry was my counsel and did a wonderful job communicating with me, and seeing that my case was presented in the absolute best manner possible, the attention to detail and the amount of care and understanding was without parallel! David Heart is an extremely incompetent and uncaring attorney if you can call him that. He's all about getting it over, done an on to the next case which he will mishandle. No time or concern will be taken and I'd suggest he consider going back to law school for future tutelage. What he must understand is all lives matter, not just his and his time. Please do better.

I recently had the pleasure of being represented by Sarah Hornberger. She was an amazing attorney and she fought extremely hard on my case. She was extremely persistent and helped exonerate me from all three misdemeanor charges. I would highly recommend her if you are ever seeking great representation.
